Pre-Anniversary
Today was a very special day. It was our pre-anniversary for one year. Also, the first time we ever went out was on a Friday, the day of Halloween. Today was a Friday, and "Halloween" so it felt like one year. We wore our awesome Star Trek costumes to school, and ate at the same place we did last year (at the same table) as on our first date. It brought up some very nice memories, and amazing conversation.
Our costumes were really special, and just plain cool. We got many compliments from teachers and students who thought we were cool enough to have the balls to wear full fledge Star Trek outfits to school. We also got candy in school and Chrissy ate everyone's, and mine.
After school we went golfing. I had never ever held a golf club and/or hit a golf ball (not even mini-golf) and I looked like an idiot. And then Chrissy was"doing badly" and yet I was still nowhere close to her. (I guess thats the price you pay for playing the golf team captain) Haha. I had a good time, and I can sorta see why people go golfing. In a way its relaxing. In a way...
But the night got better! We came home and played Left 4 Dead. We went to the fake market, I had to get my boots exchanged. The boots had completely fallen apart at school, they had no more soles! I couldn't walk. So we went to the store which we bought our shoes at. The women didn't speak English, so we had a combined effort of Chrissy's Service Center, the random man in the Army Supply store and our own broken Chinese to explain that after wearing the shoes for only four/five hours they had broken and we wanted an exchange. At first she wanted us to pay more for the next pair of shoes, but after an hour of debating she gave up and exchanged the shoes at no extra cost. (I even got to keep to old one, not sure what I will do with them...) And then Chrissy surprised me and bought me a white army helmet that I had been eyeing! and a mask! In exchange, we looked through like 11 different purse/bag stores and I bought her one.
So. All in all, an amazing night. Relaxing and fun, and we ate ice cream, lots of it too!
