Its Another Wednesday...
While I was waiting for Dragon Age: Origins to decrypt, I was eating a laffy taffy. It was from Halloween. And so in boredom I read the joke on the wrapper:
Which is faster? Heat or Cold?
Heat because its easy to catch a cold...
Its okay. I too did not laugh.
So anyways.. In my antagonizing wait to play Dragon Age - Origins. I just sat around and continued to watch the cool trailers, and I kept in touch with the forums... But no longer. Because Dragon Age - Origins is currently running the background waiting for me to return and slay some Darkspawn. Ah yes... Nerds galore. Isn't it wonderful?
My First Thoughts. Awesome Soundtrack. Let me explain, so I am walking along a fortress wall and then I look up towards the sun and over the landscape and then this King Arthur mixed Lord of the Rings track comes on, and I felt, at that moment, as if I was in one of the epic movies battling off orc and slaying dragons, or at least I was imagining it, standing on a wall isn't really what I would call large scale battle... All I can say is really, just try the game. Its brilliant, so complex and so brutally beautiful. I started off as a Human Noble, and right from the start you immerse yourself in visceral combat, and breath-taking story-telling. And the characters in the game also have a sense of humor! Its quite funny!
- Joachim.
p.s - I will write an in-depth review for the game, when I am far enough along.
