Glasses are MIA
I lost my reading glasses. I think I left them somewhere in Nepal...over a month ago. It was an extremely stupid thing to do, though it doesn't quite add up. I would check at every hotel and location several times to make sure they were accounted for. Sometimes, I would make Joachim take part in the action. Read: I would panic, think I lost them and shut down; he would remain calm and produce them from my bag. I really need them, especially when I am tired. And right now, I am very tired so often now. Much more than I ever have been before. All the words and characters are blurs, whether they are on the chalkboard or in front of me on paper. I have to squint all the times.

They were quite nice glasses. I realized that even though I wore them quite often about in public, throughout school, and the likes I don't have any decent proper pictures of me in them. The best I can do is this one of Joachim, its the only one which does them justice. They reminded me of Elvis Costello, and I always admired his glasses. Though I was a fan before all those "terribly unique indie" kids started buying knockoffs at like Urban. Cliché.
Oh Faithful Glasses!
May you rest in peace.
