Happiness from this weekend

Things that made me happy these last 2 weekend:

- milkshakes. I wanted to feel like Mia Wallace, who cares if the milk shake was 4.20, not 5.  And there was no disgusting syupy red-staining cherry, which we all know we love to eat. And I can't eat dairy, and even though I only had a few tiny sips my stomach was in pain.  Milkshakes, when done right, are tai hao le. And they make me feel all retro and sublime, liek a half of the

- Gossip Girl.  Its been almost a year since I watched it, I forgot how decadant it is.  Nothing is better than looking at pretty people in prettier clothes with a surreal life, right? It's delish. Even Joachim is watching it in a trance as I watch this:" i am intrigued by Gossip Girl" - pause and all together - hahaha.   Maybe it's a drug. A drug of beautiful people wearign pretty clothes and having nice hair. And Netrogena Skin.

- TaiKang lu - Shanghai's "upscale art" district. Does more need to be said? "upscale art" is parathisized because the restruants and streets can be grungy, certain cafes are grimy.  And yet at Cafe Dan, a cup of coffe is 40 kwai and takes ten minutes, despite the lack of proper floor there.  The grunge is juxtaposed by fluffy mint and pastel colored stores which sell macaroons and French children's clothing. All together the whole expierence  remides me of a like a CandyLand vomitted up: partly trippy colors, partly understandble dirtiness, and all together ... unnatrual.  Its wonderful.  I want to go back, drink juice and eat my ahi tuna with ginger and avacado salsa panini while listening to Moby (at Orgin). Ahhh.

- drinking Sprite.  Its delishious, like a green fairy.  I can't drink coke a cola with my stomach, but sprite is so so so much better. And all these years teased Joachim for "not being a man" and drinking Sprite ("not even diet coke...?") Basically, I hate admitting it, but I was wrong. So wrong.

-My last high school, or really any finales other than college, are done and over with.  And speaking of college:

I made it into Univeristy of Illinois:

Oh yeah - and Purdue ;9
